Why is it so hard to go back to work after a holiday?

The first two days after the holidays always take some getting used to for me. Yet, as an entrepreneur, I have the most beautiful job of all. Holidays allow us to get back into a natural sense of time. To feel how we feel when we have no pressure. Being free, no deadlines, no escalation in conversations, no guilty conscience - that is the opposite of our everyday working life.

Most of us want both: the freedom of holidays and the "luxury of the hamster wheel". Because the hamster wheel "shows us what we can do, gives us the opportunity to create, we feel our success, that is stimulating. Being good at work is fun and fulfilling. We then feel less of ourselves personally, but we see the results of our abilities. So enjoy the reluctance to "go back to work". These first two days are a gift because we feel that we have different needs.
