How do I "lure" my employees back to the office?

12 weeks ago, many of our customers sent all their employees to the home office on an ad hoc basis. The shock was great. Nevertheless, it quickly became clear that business was continuing well. For 2-3 weeks, companies have been "open" again for 25% of their employees.

But hardly anyone comes back to the office! This is how almost all companies currently feel. If it is the same for you and you want to use your office again as a company... What can you do to meet 25 percent of the employees back in the office:

You need a concept to return and you may communicate about it. Keyword: "I wish my team back in the office".

  • Issue an invitation: send a clear message as a boss: "I look forward to meeting you in the office on Tuesday & Wednesday."
  • Clarify: Who are the 25% per week. Let your team decide on which days who comes.
  • Design "emotional value": e.g., by inviting people to take breaks together and displaying this as an invitation on the calendar each day.
  • Announcement: Home office as a concept remains.

P.S.: You can also book 3 virtual workshops (2 hours each) with us, in which we design the "New Normal" together with your team. Contact us now.
